With the successful 2009 coach Anthony Alexander soon departing for a full time football opportunity in Tasmania, the 16PL team have moved to take on a new coach and assistant. The committee is proud to announce that Stephen 'Buey' Bucat and 'Spud' Magill will be joining the PL coaching staff. Stephen , long time member of the club since younger days of playing through the age groups and grades, has accepted to take some of Canberra's hottest young talent. With coaching experience behind him, particularly around this age and quality, Steve is a good acquisition for the club and all are looking forward to what he can bring to the squad. 'Spud' as he is known, will be taking on an assistant role with the team, brings excellent experience to the coaching staff. A background in the UK and holding UEFA qualifications, the boys are sure to be in good hands when Spud is around. The club welcomes both coaches and wishes them the best for the new season.
