The prospect of Friday night football before first grade had the blue devils PL16 buzzing with excitement. Also the chance to play football at a decent ground compared to the first round debacle. The coach was also looking forward to using the whiteboard.

The first twenty-five minutes was champagne football played by real Madrid as described by technical director and the last twenty was like watching Huddersfield Town.

The team as a whole performed well and the passing and movement was better than the first week, but we were unable to break down the Olympic defence which was solid all night. The first half produced several half chances for both teams.

The second half was end to end stuff very entertaining for the crowd, nerve wrecking for coaches. A 0-0 draw ended up being a fair result as both teams provided an entertaining game of football.

The team is now looking forward to playing Cooma at McKellar on 1st of May.
